Dr. Jack Beal was born in Ohio and moved to Florida as a young child. He attended Rollins College for his Bachelors' degree where he was a member of the Crew team. He then pursued a masters' degree in Veterinary Science at the University of Florida before entering veterinary school. He obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 1982.
Dr. Beal has many years of experience as a small animal practitioner and practice owner. He has been involved with Southeastern Guide Dogs for many years and is also a board member for the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Beal serves on the advisory board for the Animal Control of Manatee County.
Other than his work in Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Beal shares his home with Peppy (a mixed Chihuahua), and enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 grown boys. Fishing, skiing, rowing, and Gator games are his favorite pastimes. So you won't find him working at the clinic in the fall if there is a Gator home game! GO GATORS!!
Dr. Christin Eley was born and raised in Delaware. She obtained her Bachelors' degree in Animal Science with a minor in Biology at the University of Delaware.
After working as a Veterinary Assistant during her undergaduate years she moved to Florida for veterinary school. Dr. Eley received her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1997 from the University of Florida where she graduated with honors.
After graduation, Dr. Eley worked in a progressive practice in St. Augustine, Florida, for 5 years before moving to Bradenton where she worked as a relief veterinarian at multiple practices for several years before working exclusively at Palmetto Animal Clinic.
Dr. Eley enjoys all areas of medicine and soft tissue surgery and has special interest in Veterinary Dentistry.
When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. She has many four legged children, her 3 dogs, Kona, Lacey, Red, and her 6 cats, Macaroni, B.C., Larry, Buster, Tele and Alien. Also, Delilah the rabbit and Olive the rat share her house.
If she has any free time left she enjoys running, gardening, and cooking for family get togethers.
